L&M Waterfront Services offers a variety of dock and boat lift services to get your waterfront property ready for a summer of fun or removed and stored for the winter. Whether your lake bottom is sandy, mucky or you have a steep hill, we are here to help!
We’ll set and level your boat lift and dock for maximum stability throughout the summer. With our attention to detail our team can handle the entire installation and removal process, saving you valuable time and hassle.
Our professional team utilizes the latest technology when it comes to installing and removing your dock or boat lift. By using technology such as our fork barge we are able to avoid shoreline damage while also being able to access those tricker shorelines such as steep hills and stone riprap.
Service Area
We provide complete dock and lift installation and removal services to homeowners on Long Lake, Silver Lake, Duck Lake, Green Lake, Crystal Lake, Platte Lake, Bear Lake, Portage Lake, South Lake Leelanau and Glen Lake. We also provide the same level of service to all other lakes in Benzie, Leelanau, Manistee and Grand Traverse Counties.

Repairs
Please contact us to discuss your repair needs. A typical repair requires 2 service calls; one to diagnose the problem, if parts are needed, the second to fix the problem. We offer the following repair services: Lift Cables, Lift Guides, Winch Repair, Winch Replacement and Hydraulic Repairs/Diagnosis.
Canopy Services
Are you tired of climbing over the boat or trying to put the canopy on yourself? Our team can smoothly and efficiently install or remove your canopy each season. In the fall we will also install your mooring cover once the canopy is off so your boat stays protected.
Does your canopy look dirty or always smell musty when you pull it out of the lake shed every spring? We offer canopy cleaning and storage to prevent that. We use vinyl safe cleaning products and ensure your canopy is completely dry, then we store it in dry, secure storage for the winter.
Barge Services
If you need to transport your dock, boat lift or swim raft, there’s no better way than by barge! Whether your equipment is being transported for winter storage or being delivered for installation, barges are speedy and effective for loading and unloading. We have two different barges we use, our state of the art fork barge is used to install, remove, transport and recover boat lifts. Our other barge is an open deck used to transport new or used docks, along with any accessories you purchase for your waterfront.Our fork barge is also helpful for storm recovery. With it we can upright an overturned lift or an upside down pontoon boat.
